About LAOS

Built around the livestock.
And the people doing the work.

LAOS is being built to keep useful information connected across the decisions and handovers of livestock work.

01 / The product approach

Built around
the people doing the work.

The ambition is straightforward: information entered at one stage should remain useful at the next. The current workspace starts with records, agency work, producer observations and buyer requirements.

01

Respect the relationship.

Agents, producers and buyers bring judgement, local knowledge and responsibility. The product should support those relationships with a clearer record.

02

Keep the source visible.

Observed values, declarations, calculated figures and estimates should not look interchangeable. The application is designed to make those distinctions visible.

03

Share deliberately.

The useful record is not automatically a public one. Access follows roles and permissions; publishing provenance is an explicit choice.

Useful records, clear boundaries

Start with what
can be tested.

The next stage is a focused pilot conversation around supported workflows, responsible access and operational fit.

A current product, not a claim about everything.

The supported work includes property and mob records, listings, buyer requirements, sale terms, receival and recorded settlement status.

Boundaries remain clear.

Official registry verification, carrier booking, payment execution, universal offline operation and autonomous trading are not current product promises.

A considered next step.

Workspace access is invitation-based. Scope, responsibilities and any commercial terms belong in the pilot discussion rather than an unreviewed public promise.

The next conversation

Build the conversation
around your work.

If the approach fits how you operate, let’s discuss a focused pilot.
